An upgraded 2021 version of the Magformers WOW Set, a global best-selling set since its launch in 2013!
The magnetic clip-on wheels have been replaced with click wheels for more stable vehicle construction models. Te driver is detachable with interchanging helmets. There are extra puzzle and shape sorting cards to bring additional play value to this set. And a whopping 30 different vehicle models can be made. The idea is for the child to work out how to build the vehicle by looking at the picture, rather than following ‘step by step’ instructions. This trains the child to think about the shapes and number of pieces required to make the vehicle. Importantly, it also requires the child to develop rotational skills, by working out which shapes would be on the unseen side.
Children can also learn about 2D to 3D modelling, with the fold out ‘life-size’ cards, which allows the child to place the actual pieces on top of the 2D shape and then transform the 2D shapes into a 3D model by lifting the pieces put together on the flat lay. This involves laying the pieces flat on the card, and using their magnetic power to transform them into 3D structures
Magformers magnetic shapes always securely attach. Pieces are made from a specially-toughened ABS plastic and small neodymium magnets are safely sealed in the edges of each piece. Because these rotate due to the Magformers Rotating Magnets System (RMS), they always connect and never repel when two pieces are brought together.

Planning the big lap, this large Aussie map is great, stuck it on the wall in the living area, the kids love it to plan, gives them perspective on how big this country it. Love it
